  • You will grow business with designated accounts by managing top and bottom lines and build a business plan for your accounts. You will detect new opportunities & drive spread of product portfolio at these customers leveraging the Belgium logistic hub for service offer beyond products.
  • You develop and maintain strong and long lasting relationships with customers.
  • You will negotiate pricing agreements within guidelines and manage credit, contracts, forecasts, etc. for these accounts.
  • You ensure a successful and timely delivery of products and services to customers according to their specifications by close interactions with quality, supply chain and other services.
  • You will provide forecast volumes & establish budget for your customers.
  • You will also provide information for market intelligence (market data, competitor information, etc, …). You will help the management to understand the local context in order to develop new market opportunities.
  • You will prepare reports of sales metrics over a specified period of time and you will develop and deliver both internal and customer presentations as needed.
  • You will report to the BU Manager Industry Fruits.


  • You have a Master’s degree (in eg. business or food engineering) with ideally a first sales experience in B2B food ingredients.
  • You have business basics to be able to interact with purchasing teams as well as technical teams.
  • Understanding of frozen fruits or vegetables or food ingredients would be a plus but not mandatory.
  • You are a team player and able to adapt in a matrixial and multicultural environment.
  • You are able to handle complexity, balancing quality and detail with pragmatism and hands on problem-solving. You are flexible and able to engage in multiple tasks.
  • You are proficient in Dutch, English and ideally also in French.
  • You are open to travel up to 20% of your time.
